Job summary

True Will Disability Services on the Gold Coast is seeking dedicated Support Workers to deliver high-intensity and complex care to participants across Pimpama, Coomera, Bundall and surrounding areas. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with PBSPs, medication administration, manual handling, driving and a passion for empowering people with disability to live independently.

A current driver license, clearances, and valid training are required; the role offers a supportive, values-driven

Key Responsibilities
As a Support Worker, you will deliver a wide range of support services, including but not limited to:

Providing complex and high-intensity support

Delivering personal care: showering, toileting, dressing, and medication administration

Assisting with manual handling and mobility support

Undertaking domestic duties: cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation

Supporting transportation needs and community access

Promoting and facilitating meaningful community participation

Managing challenging situations with professionalism and empathy

Essential Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

Demonstrated experience in providing high-intensity support

Experience in implementing Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs)

NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card)

Blue Card (Working with Children Check)

Required Training Certificates:

NDIS Worker Orientation Module

Relevant NDIS training modules

Infection Control Training

Medication Administration Training

Current First Aid Certificate

Proven experience in manual handling (hoist use), medication administration, and mental health support

Current Australian Driver Licence and access to a vehicle suitable for work purposes (with comprehensive insurance)

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination

Current National Police Clearance

Legal right to work in Australia

Ownership of a smartphone for rostering and documentation purposes via our client management app

Desirable Qualifications
The following are not essential but will be highly regarded:

Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Disability (or currently enrolled)

Valid certificates in medication administration and manual handling
