Role Description

This is a Casual on-site role for a Support Worker based in Gold Coast, QLD. The Support Worker will be responsible for providing day-to-day care and assistance to individuals with disabilities. Key tasks include:

1. Assisting with high intensity daily activities
2. Supporting independence
3. Implementing personalised care plans
4. Ensuring the safety and well-being of clients

The role involves working closely with clients and their families to deliver compassionate and high-quality support.

Qualifications

• Experience in Support Work and related caregiving roles
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication abilities
• Knowledge of safeguarding practices and protocols
• Technical support skills relevant to disability care
• Empathy, patience, and the ability to handle challenging situations
• Relevant certifications in disability support or healthcare (preferred)
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Yellow and Blue Card Clearance
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
