Job summary

Simply Helping Geelong Barwon is seeking passionate support workers to provide in-home care across Drysdale, Clifton Springs, Indented Heads, Portarlington, St Leonards, Queenscliff, Points Lonsdale & Anglesea.

You will assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, community access, transport, shopping, and domestic tasks, while fostering independence in a respectful, compassionate manner.

Qualifications

• Certificate III Home and Community Care or equivalent (minimum).
• NDIS Worker Screen required.
• Working with Children's check required.
• Current First Aid Certificate and CPR.
• Driver's license and a reliable car.
• Covid vaccination (initial) and seasonal flu vaccination.
• Previous experience in home care or related field preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Empathy and compassion for individuals with varying needs.
• Trustworthy and reliable with a vehicle.
• Flexibility.

Responsibilities
