Job summary

Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT) is seeking a part-time Support Services Employee to assist with cleaning, kitchen, and laundry tasks within our residential aged care setting. Under supervision, you will support higher grade staff and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and infection control standards.
• Assist with full range of domestic duties including cleaning, kitchen and food preparation.
• Be responsible for the general cleanliness of the kitchen, including all appliances, storage areas, work benches and floors.
• Laundry

Support Services Employee- Part Time

The Support Service Employee – Cleaning, Kitchen, Laundry (Grade 1) is responsible for working under limited supervision and providing general assistance to higher grade employees in the full range of domestic duties.

The position is accountable and responsible in ensuring compliance with SCC policies and procedures, relevant standards, relevant legislation and accepted industry practices.
