We deliver a broad range of services focused on the wellbeing and independence of individuals, families and communities across Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales.

About the Role

We are looking for an NDIS Support Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will help NDIS participants achieve greater independence by assessing their individual needs and identifying the necessary services and supports to reach their goals. You will work closely with participants to coordinate their supports, ensure they maximize their NDIS plans, and address any barriers by implementing action plans.

Other key duties will include:

  • Building strong relationships with participants, their families and external service providers
  • Driving as required to visit participants
  • Helping participants to negotiate with providers about what they will offer and helping them to understand the cost they will need to allocate from their NDIS budget
  • Working with billable hours and targets
  • Ensuring service agreements are completed
  • Taking a holistic approach to capacity building and helping participants to break down and address their barriers

What you will bring to the role:

  • Previous experience working with, and a thorough understanding of, the NDIS and the ability to understand facets of NDIS Plans/Budgets
  • Experience with billing targets and case noting
  • High level administration experience, compliance capabilities and IT skills - particularly with Excel
  • You are a true people person, preferably with demonstrated disability sector experience and with the ability to motivate and build rapport with participants, their families and service providers
  • A business mindset and a customer service focus
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills with high-level organisation skills

Benefits and Perks

  • Salary Package up to $15,900 of your annual salary tax free, and additional $2,650 for meal and entertainment expenses
  • Use your pre-tax income to purchase a new or used car, saving on both the purchase price and running costs
  • Discounts on Corporate Private Health Insurance, selected Kia vehicles and white goods at Harvey Norman
  • Discounted family gym memberships through Fitness Passport
  • Supportive induction and learning opportunities
  • 6 week’s paid parental leave for primary carer
  • Free coaching and counselling through our Employee Assistance Program
  • Reward and Recognition Program
