Job summary

Woolworths Group is recruiting for a Supply Planning role based in Norwest with a hybrid model (3 days in office, 2 days WFH). The position focuses on delivering ambient stock availability through planned collaboration with suppliers and internal teams to optimise inventory and service levels.

The ideal candidate has experience in FMCG or retail, with hands-on knowledge of demand planning, SAP/JDA or similar ERP, and a track record in retail supply chain planning.

Qualifications

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Google applications.
  • Experience in FMCG or general retail.
  • Supply and/or Demand Planning experience is desirable.
  • Retail management or Supply Chain experience.
  • SAP, JDA or equivalent ERP experience related to Supply Planning.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborative Planning & Forecasting: Build aligned demand and supply forecasts by facilitating close collaboration between Buying teams, Sales Forecasting, and suppliers.
  • Inventory & Availability Optimisation: Monitor and optimise the Woolworths Distribution Centre network to maximise store availability and supply chain efficiency.
  • Promotional Execution & Communication: Plan and execute promotional activities with suppliers while updating stakeholders on supply changes.
  • Strategic Operating Rhythms: Establish operating rhythms and meetings to align stakeholder plans and improve service levels.
  • System Transformation: Drive supply chain excellence during a transition to a new Order Management System (OMS).
