Job summary

New Porgera Limited invites an experienced professional to lead Supply and Business Services on a FIFO basis to PNG. You will oversee procurement, logistics, inventory, contracts administration and travel & camp teams, ensuring timely delivery of materials for mining operations.

The role requires strong leadership, safety focus, and the ability to drive performance in a remote, complex environment, including stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Extensive procurement and logistics management experience in mining/oil & gas sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Supply and Business Services function including procurement, logistics, inventory, contracts administration and travel & camp teams.
• Ensure timely procurement, transportation, storage and availability of goods and services to maintain mining operations with minimal downtime.
• Model safety behaviours, develop the team and manage risk in a complex remote operation.
• Drive continuous improvement of supply chain practices and vendor performance.
• Provide stakeholder management and align with NPL policies and standards.
