Job summary

Grundfos in Adelaide seeks an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead the global supply chain team across Australia and Indonesia, ensuring timely component availability for local assembly.

You will drive strategy, optimize inventory, and foster a culture of continuous improvement, with SAP proficiency and a passion for developing people.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Logistics, SCM or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in production planning or supply chain management in manufacturing.
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute supply chain strategy to achieve performance targets including inventory value, days of supply, clean stock, delivery KPIs, and engagement.
• Monitor and adjust safety stock levels via historical analysis and market evaluation to improve robustness.
• Manage Purchase Orders and Production Orders to ensure continuity of supply.
• Lead and develop a seven-person team across Australia and Indonesia.
• Build cooperative relationships with Operations, Quality, Customer Service and EHS to maintain efficiency and quality.

As our new Supply Chain Manager, you will be providing daily leadership of the Supply Chain team across Adelaide and Jakarta, shaping a proactive, value-based team culture that ensures timely component availability for local assembly operations. What you will be doing

As a key part of the Supply Chain Operations team, you'll create impact by Driving supply chain robustness and delivery performance that directly enables Grundfos to meet customer commitments while optimizing inventory and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

• Define and execute supply chain strategy to achieve performance targets including inventory value, days of supply, clean stock, delivery KPIs (lead time, first confirmed, OTTR) and employee engagement scores
• Monitor and adjust safety stock levels through historical analysis and market evaluation, driving supply chain robustness via supplier forecasts and material master data maintenance
• Manage Purchase Orders and Production Orders to ensure continuity of supply, including expedite/de-expedite processes (PFR) and CIC management with direct suppliers
• Lead and develop a team of seven across Australia and Indonesia, fostering employee engagement and managing employee relations in line with Grundfos values and leadership principles
• Build cooperative relationships with Operations stakeholders including Production, Continuous Improvement, Customer Service, Quality and EHS to ensure an efficient, quality-focused and sustainable workplace

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a hand-on supply chain leader with deep manufacturing planning experience, strong SAP proficiency, and a genuine passion for developing people and driving results across geographies. We would also imagine that you have:

• Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field
• 5+ years of experience in production planning, or supply chain management in manufacturing industry
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams
• Proficiency in SAP (materials management, production planning modules)

It is a plus if you also

• Experience in cross-functional collaboration across operations, quality, and customer service teams
• Experience managing multinational or geographically distributed teams
• Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement orientation

You’ll also be available for travelling up to 4 times per year.
