Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of experience in distribution, warehousing, and 3PL management.
  • Knowledge of supply chain interdependencies in regulated industries.

About the role

Join DBG Health as a Supply Chain Specialist and be at the heart of transforming how Australia\'s largest generic and private-label pharmaceutical company runs its operations. You\'ll work hands-on with our 3PL providers, internal teams and partner directly with senior leaders to uncover efficiencies, drive continuous improvement and help deliver a long-term program of operational excellence.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day 3PL and Pre-Wholesaler performance metrics (operational and financial), optimise SOPs, and drive cost, efficiency and regulatory compliance improvements.
  • Create and maintain tracking tools, reports and operational dashboards to benchmark and optimise 3PL performance, ensuring cross-functional alignment.
  • Regularly review freight and international shipping markets, manage tenders and contracts, and meet with key providers to track costs, service levels and forecast needs.
  • Support the development of end-to-end supply chain strategies, resilience initiatives and IT/system enhancements, as well as distribution and warehousing projects.
  • Coach, influence and develop colleagues, building strong relationships and supporting their professional growth.
  • Lead by example in health, safety and wellbeing, champion DBG Health\'s values and actively promote process improvement and collaboration across the business.
Skills & Experience
  • 7-10yrs experience across distribution, warehousing and 3PL management (operational and strategic)
  • A strong grasp of end-to-end supply chain interdependencies; preferably within regulated industries such as pharmaceutical, health, or FMCG.
  • Proficient in ERP systems (MS Dynamics), developing trackers, reports and exception dashboards; comfortable collaborating with data analysts and leveraging insights to drive improvement.
  • Proven people leadership, mentoring and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively across functions and all organisational levels.
  • Able to identify opportunities, develop business cases and execute outcomes while managing competing priorities and fostering collaboration.
  • Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Business, Commerce or related field (APICS or equivalent desirable)
