Job summary

IKEA Tempe, NSW, is seeking a Supply Chain Planning & Inventory Manager to lead a team across Fulfilment Operations and the wider business. You will drive forecasting, range management, inventory health, and performance insights to optimise stock, cost, and availability.

This role champions continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration in an omnichannel retail environment. Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of local, national, and global fulfilment initiatives with stakeholders.

Additional Information:

• Position is Permanent Full Time, 76hrs/fortnight.
• Location of role is IKEA Tempe, NSW.
• Internal job title at IKEA is Fulfilment Integration Manager. Reporting line is to the Fulfilment Manager.
• As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the availability to work alternating weekend shifts (both Saturday and Sunday).
• As part of the recruitment process this role requires a pre-employment check for final candidates.

As Supply Chain Planning & Inventory Manager your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Leading, coaching, and developing a team while building robust relationships across Fulfilment Operations and the wider business.
• Creating an inclusive and supportive team culture that values collaboration, continuous learning, and high performance to achieve business goals and deliver outcomes.
• Partnering with commercial and fulfilment teams to deliver commercial activations, range changes, and operational forecasting that support customer and business outcomes.
• Securing and monitoring effective range management and stock accuracy through proactive planning, analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proactively drive improvements to stock structure and inventory health to enhance operational efficiency, availability, capacity, and cost effectiveness.
• Leading the adoption of fulfilment solutions and ensure maximum system effectiveness, operational efficiency, and cost consciousness.
• Coordinating and supporting the implementation of local, national, and global fulfilment initiatives in partnership with key stakeholders.
• Fostering capability development across the store and championing continuous improvement initiatives that enhance end-to-end fulfilment operations.

As Supply Chain Planning & Inventory Manager, you are:

• A collaborative, people- centred leader who has a passion for coaching and developing others with the ability to build capability, foster collaboration and empower your team to achieve shared goals. Leadership experience is essential.
• Equipped with sound knowledge and experience with forecasting, range management, inventory management, and sales and inventory planning.
• Comfortable using data and performance insights to guide planning and business decisions.
• Well versed in developing and implementing business strategies, aligning people and priorities to achieve shared goals and results.
• Able to connect, influence, engage, and align diverse stakeholders to successfully deliver business priorities and initiatives.
• Passionate about continuous improvement, with the ability to translate insights into practical solutions that enhance customer and business outcomes.
• Experienced working in an omnichannel retail, fulfilment, logistics, supply chain, or inventory planning environment.
