Job description

Zimmermann is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Operations Manager to join our global team on a 12-month maternity leave contract. Working closely with the Supply Chain 3PL Director, you will be a key driver in ensuring our global supply chain is efficient, high-performing, and consistently improving to reduce costs and optimize performance.

Responsibilities
Global Process Optimization
  • Lead and implement global continuous improvement projects to reduce costs and improve lead times.
  • Identify and address supply chain challenges to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive automation projects from definition to implementation to streamline workflows.
  • Provide data analysis and financial reports with actionable insights.
Third-Party Logistics (3PL) Management
  • Oversee inbound and outbound stock management in 3PL warehouses.
  • Coordinate and monitor deliveries to reduce lead times and optimize performance.
  • Manage bi-annual stock takes and spot checks to ensure stock integrity.
  • Collaborate with 3PL partners to maintain service levels.
Cost Optimization
  • Forecast and review monthly 3PL and logistics budgets.
  • Approve and sign off on 3PL and freight invoices.
Skills & Experience
  • 3-4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with international logistics and third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience with Apparel21 is a plus.
