Overview

As a business we are always looking to improve, create, innovate and resonate not only with our customers but with our internal teams.

We are currently accepting applications for an experienced and proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to join our Shimano Australia Cycling team in Caringbah.

Reporting to Purchasing & Product Manager, the primary objectives of this role include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities
  • Create purchase orders for current and forecasted demand
  • Follow-up with vendors to ensure purchase orders have correct price, freight charge, and delivery date
  • Coordinate with vendors in the event of an issue with quality and complete nonconformance reports
  • Follow-up with vendors on back-orders and notify operations of impacts to project ship dates
  • Build and maintain supply redundancy
  • Work with team to source new parts, and products
  • Enter and maintain Pronto ERP by updating costs, quote information and purchase orders
  • Update and maintain SAP IBP Forecasting system monthly
  • Work in line with Shimano GO (Global order system)
  • Monitor inventory levels for critical parts
  • Help with inventory counts and cycle counts mid-year and at year-end
Qualifications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges effectively.
  • Prior knowledge of Pronto ERP (highly regarded) /or similar stock control inventory system
  • Microsoft Office Suite specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Demonstrated exposure to inventory and managing of components
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • A proactive mindset with attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Tertiary qualifications in supply chain management, logistics, or related field.
  • Prior experience in supply chain coordination or related role.
  • Able to manage competing demands, with the ability to work towards tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
