Job summary

Dari's Kitchen is seeking a Supply and Distribution Manager to join the Sydney team and oversee inventory, warehousing, and distribution operations. You will coordinate with Commercial Sales to implement planning processes and ensure on-time fulfillment while maintaining optimal stock levels in line with lead times and forecasts.

In this role you will manage the warehouse, dispatch and procurement activities, drive 99% DIFOT performance, and uphold health, safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control.
• Ability to coordinate with suppliers, production and logistics.
• Knowledge of DIFOT targets and stock optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead S&OP planning with Commercial Sales to ensure just-in-time inventory.
• Manage warehouse, operations and dispatch teams to achieve 99% DIFOT.
• Maintain master data integrity in WMS and manage cycle counts.
• Negotiate procurement contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost and delivery requirements.
• Develop risk management strategies and a full BCP for Dari's Kitchen.
• Ensure health, safety and quality procedures and critical control point checks are followed.

Job description

• Work with the Commercial Sales Team in order to implement strategic Sales and Operational planning processes to lead the preparation and implementation of plans to ensure just in time inventory and maintenance of optimal levels of stock based on lead times and production forecast is achieved as part of overall Operational effectiveness and to forecast demand and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or excesses.

• Work with the Commercial Sales Team in order to implement strategic Sales and Operational planning processes to lead the preparation and implementation of plans to ensure just in time inventory and maintenance of optimal levels of stock based on lead times and production forecast is achieved as part of overall Operational effectiveness and to forecast demand and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or excesses.
• Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers and vendors including negotiating procurement contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost and delivery requirements based on seasonal availability and transport costs.
• Oversight and review of the storage and inventory systems in Datapel Warehouse Management Systems to meet supply requirements. Ensure transactions are carried out in a timely manner and be accountable for auditing and management of the Warehouse team undertaking periodic cycle counting and stock takes to ensure accurate record of inventory values aligning physical and book stock levels.
• Responsible for master data integrity including set up new Bills of Materials and being responsible for using the Warehouse management system to track all movements of supplies and finished goods, and ensuring re-ordering and re‑ stocking at optimal times and to ensure that physical and system entry is accurate and reviewed for data integrity at all times.
• Responsible for the delivery of the production plan through liaising with the Operations teams and Customer service teams to ensure requirements for finished goods and associated customer deliveries are completed on time and in full on the order date. Prioritisation of Work in progress and management of Warehouse, operations and dispatch teams to achieve 99% DIFOT (delivery in full on time)
• Managing the kitchen and warehousing teams in the prioritisation, batch control, stock rotation and delivery to warehouse location and directly monitor Ensure attainment to plan is recorded and communicated to management and reason for variation clearly defined
• Ensure health & Safety and quality procedures are followed and all compliance checks around contamination and metal detection are adhered to and recorded at critical control points
• Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions including working with internal and external stakeholders on a full operational BCP (Business Continuity Plan) for Dari's Kitchen

Expected Salary: $82,000 - $92,000 AUD per year
