Job summary

Engineering Trades Australia is recruiting for a major Ampol Lytton Refinery Shutdown and we're looking for experienced Mechanical Supervisors to join the shutdown team. You will supervise mechanical crews across the refinery, ensuring activities are completed safely, efficiently and to schedule.

Ideal candidates have heavy industrial, refinery, shutdown or maintenance backgrounds and hold a relevant trade qualification with tickets.

Qualifications

• Must have relevant trade qualification and/or tickets.
• Strong supervisory experience in heavy industrial, refinery, shutdown or maintenance contexts.
• Able to pass pre-employment medical and Ampol site background checks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical crews and coordinate works across the refinery.

Engineering Trades Australia is currently recruiting for a major Ampol Lytton Refinery Shutdown and we're looking for experienced Mechanical Supervisors to join the shutdown team.

The Opportunity

• Start:Earliest induction Tuesday next week
• Duration:Through to approximately end of September / early October
• Hours:6:00am - 6:00pm
• Paid:12 hours per shift
• Day shift:$92.01/hr flat rate
• Night shift:25% additional loading
• Accommodation:May be available for eligible candidates
• LAHA:$70/day for eligible candidates to cover meals and incidentals

Mechanical Supervisor

We are seeking an experiencedMechanical Supervisorwith a strong heavy industrial, refinery, shutdown or maintenance background.

You will be responsible for supervising mechanical crews and coordinating works across the refinery, ensuring activities are completed safely, efficiently and to schedule.

What You'll Need

• Relevant trade qualification and/or tickets
• Previous shutdown, refinery, oil & gas, mining, power or heavy industrial experience
• Strong supervisory experience for the Mechanical Supervisor position
• Construction White Card
• Relevant welding/hot works tickets and competencies where applicable
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
• Ability to complete Ampol site requirements and background checks
• Strong safety focus and reliable work ethic

Drive-in is preferred, however accommodation and LAHA may be available depending on your circumstances and location.
