Job summary

MINERAL RESOURCES LIMITED is seeking an experienced Supervisor Material and Logistics for our Wodgina site. You will lead the warehouse team, supervise load/unload, inventory control, and direct receivals to support mining operations with safe, cost-efficient services.

This is a permanent full-time FIFO role from Perth on an 8D 6RR roster. You will manage a safety-first environment, roster and training, and ensure compliant movements under CoR and WA transport rules.

Qualifications

• Section 26 qualified (mandatory).
• Forklift Ticket.
• Experience using Coupa, SAP and PRONTO.
• Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics supervisory role.
• Experience with CoR and road legislation as it applies to freight transport.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and transport booking software.
• Proficient in MS Office, including Excel.
• Ability to adapt to changing business requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to engage other departments through positive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with warehouse safety requirements and provide a safe working environment.
• Report hazards, incidents, inspections and safety observations in INX.
• Manage annual cycle count process.
• Build professional relationships with customers, stakeholders and team members.
• Ensure priority and shutdown freight is received and dispatched on time and cost-effectively.
• Process invoices in line with contract terms.
• Audit manifests and trailers for trailer utilisation and CoR compliance.
• Ensure shipments comply with CoR and transport regulations in WA and nationally.
• Monitor and report trailer utilisation in Bustle and Coupa.
• Conduct daily pre-starts and walk-arounds.
• Identify and report process improvements and inform key stakeholders.
• Manage roster, overtime and leave for direct reports.
• Facilitate training to upskill the team.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Supervisor Material and Logistics to join our Supply team at Wodgina. You will report to the Site Superintendent and lead the warehouse team.

You will supervise load and unload activities, inventory and direct consume receivals, warehouse picking, cycle counts, site storage, dangerous goods management and back freight of goods from site. Your work will support MinRes' mining operations with efficient, cost-effective warehouse services. You will do this with an absolute commitment to safety and our zero-harm policy.

This is a permanent full-time role on an 8D 6RR roster FIFO from Perth.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure full compliance with all warehouse safety requirements. Provide a safe working environment for all personnel and visitors in line with MinRes procedures and work instructions.
• Report all hazards, incidents, daily inspections, actions and safety observations in the MinRes INX system.
• Manage and complete the annual cycle count process.
• Build professional relationships with customers, stakeholders and team members, and deliver superior customer service.
• Ensure priority and shutdown freight is received and dispatched on time and cost effectively. Keep end users updated on request.
• Ensure invoices are processed in line with agreed contractual payment terms and conditions.
• Audit manifests and trailers to ensure effective trailer utilisation and compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and dangerous goods legislation.
• Ensure all shipments comply with CoR and other transport regulations in WA and nationally.
• Enter, monitor and report on trailer utilisation data in the Bustle and Coupa systems.
• Complete daily pre-starts and walk-arounds.
• Identify and report on process improvements. Keep key stakeholders informed before making changes.
• Manage the roster, overtime and leave for your direct reports.
• Manage and facilitate training so your team has the skills required for their roles.

What you'll bring

Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally in the mining or transport industries.

Essential:

• Section 26 qualified (mandatory).
• Forklift Ticket.
• Experience using Coupa / SAP / PRONTO.
• Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics supervisory (or similar) position.
• Proven experience in warehouse and logistics functions in a remote warehouse setting.
• Experience with CoR and road legislation as it applies to freight transport.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and transport booking software
• Good knowledge of the MS Office suite, including Excel spreadsheets and analysis.
• The ability to work reactively as business requirements change.
• Strategic thinking, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to engage other departments through positive leadership.

Desirable:

• Cert IV Warehouse and Logistics.

The Wodgina lithium operation is located 120km south of Port Hedland in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. MinRes manages all mining operations at Wodgina, including a spodumene concentrate processing plant with an annual capacity of 900,000 tonnes (SC5.5).
