Job summary

Bare Recruit and Consult is seeking a talented Estimator / Site Supervisor for insurance repair projects in Adelaide. The role is hybrid, full-time, and involves supervising residential, commercial and strata works with a capacity for major loss projects in the future.

The starting salary ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 plus superannuation and a company vehicle or vehicle allowance, with flexible negotiation based on experience.

Qualifications

• Prior Supervising and Estimating experience within insurance repair building preferred.
• Background within residential and/or commercial building space, repairs, refurbishment and maintenance.
• Trade background - Carpentry preferred.
• Report writing skills essential.
• Strong communication and empathy when dealing with homeowners during repairs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a range of insurance repair and private remedial building projects (residential, commercial, strata).
• Occasional estimation variations accepted, but role is primarily supervision.
• Manage site operations across Adelaide Metro and surrounding areas.
• Collaborate with trades to ensure timely, quality delivery of works.

Opportunity available for a talented Estimator / Site Supervisor to join a remedial and insurance building company in Adelaide, in a hybrid role.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

This construction company specialises in insurance repairs, private remediations, renovations and property maintenance across the residential, commercial and strata space. In addition to this

Projects include everything from emergency make safes and disaster response work, to programmed maintenance works.

They work across multiple states, and have an extensive network of qualified trades to ensure that projects run smoothly.

ABOUT THE POSITION

You will be Supervising for a range of insurance repair building projects and private remedial works, including residential, commercial and strata.

While there may at times be some minor variations needed to estimations, this is not a dual role and you will not be expected to Estimate.

Project sizes are generally BAU up to mid-size, however the company have capacity to take on major loss works in the near future.

The region you will be covering is Adelaide Metro, and surrounding neighbourhoods including Palmerston. There is ample on-going work and this is a permanent position.

This is a full time position, Monday - Friday.

The starting salary on offer is $100,000 - $120,000 + superannuation + company vehicle OR vehicle allowance. (Flexibility to negotiate depending on experience).

ABOUT YOU

Prior Supervising and Estimating experience within insurance repair building preferred.

Background within the residential and/or commercial building space, specifically within repairs, refurbishment and maintenance works highly advantageous.

Trade background - Carpentry preferred.

Report writing skills.

Well presented, steady, calm and empathetic - ability to interact well with home owners going through a difficult period dealing with damage to their properties.

Ability and interest to commit to the role long term.
