Job summary

UGL Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor for the Goyder Battery Energy Storage System project in South Australia. This site-based, DIDO/FIFO role requires hands-on leadership of electrical construction activities, coordinating crews, and ensuring safe, on-time delivery in line with contract requirements.

You will supervise substations, HV works and associated services, lead toolbox talks and ensure documentation compliance, while maintaining strong communication with project

Qualifications

• Electrical Trade Qualification
• Extensive supervisory experience in electrical construction
• Experience in substations, HV works, renewables or major infra projects is highly regarded
• Strong leadership, communication and conflict resolution skills
• Solid understanding of safety systems, QA requirements and site compliance
• Ability to coordinate multiple work fronts in a fast-paced environment
• Strong planning, organisation and people management capability
• Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical crews, subcontractors and apprentices for productivity and quality
• Oversee installation and termination of cables, earth grids, HV plant, switchgear and services
• Coordinate works in live operational environments including substations

• Ensure HSSEQ, QA and project documentation compliance
• Monitor progress, timesheets and workforce performance
• Support workforce development, inductions and compliance training
• Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders and site leadership

| | | | | --- | --- | | Supervisor - Electrical Goyder BESS Project-269814 UGL’s Energy & Industrial are seeking an experienced **Supervisor - Electrical** to support our team on the Goyder BESS Project in SA! **ABOUT THE ROLE** Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Electrical Supervisor is responsible for front-line supervision of electrical construction activities, workforce coordination and safe project delivery. You will play a critical role in ensuring work is completed safely, to specification, on time and in line with contractual requirements.
