BMD invites a capable Supervisor to join our North QLD civil team. You’ll lead on-site crews, work with the Project Manager to hit productivity and program milestones, and drive safe, quality outcomes on complex civil projects in Townsville region.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Civil Construction is required.
• Extensive civil construction background with supervisory experience.

Job description

Who we’re looking for:

We are looking for an experienced Supervisor to join our high calibre team in delivering projects in the North QLD region.As an experienced Foreman, you will work collaboratively with the Project Manager to achieve optimum productivity and program outcomes. You will use your trusted leadership and communication skills to quickly and effectively build relationships across all levels of our projects, including with subcontractors. With a robust pipeline of projects ahead, you will have opportunities to build a long-term career with an employer who fosters a high performing, transparent and accountable culture.

You will motivate others, ensuring a high-performing culture where teamwork ensures the delivery of exceptional quality outcomes to program, while ensuring a safe working environment at all times.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with:

• Certificate III in Civil Construction


• extensive civil construction background with demonstrated supervisory experience


• excellent attitude towards health, safety, environmental and quality outcomes, embedding this commitment in everything you do


• motivation to achieve value-for-money results to program.
