Job summary

BMD Group's Urban division in South Australia is seeking an experienced Supervisor to help deliver productivity and program outcomes across diverse civil projects.

You will motivate teams, uphold a strong safety, environmental and quality culture, and collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure value-for-money progress and on-time delivery for private and public sector clients. The role requires hands-on leadership and a proactive approach to risk and quality control.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Civil Construction with site delivery exposure.
• Extensive civil construction background with demonstrable supervisory experience.
• Strong commitment to health, safety, environmental and quality outcomes (HSEQ).
• Motivation to achieve value-for-money results to program.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise field teams to deliver productivity and program outcomes in collaboration with the Project Manager.
• Foster a high-performing, safe work culture and environment on site.
• Monitor quality and safety compliance, ensuring corrective actions are taken.
• Support project delivery through proactive planning, communication and risk management.

Who we’re looking for:

BMD’s Urban division in South Australia are seeking an experienced Supervisor to join our high calibre team, working in collaboration with the Project Manager to achieve optimum productivity and program outcomes.

We deliver a diverse range of projects for both private and public sector clients across defence, public infrastructure, land development and mining and resources industries.

You will motivate others, ensuring a high-performing culture where teamwork ensures the delivery of exceptional quality outcomes to program, while ensuring a safe working environment at all times.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with:

• Certificate III in Civil Construction


• extensive civil construction background with demonstrated supervisory experience


• excellent attitude towards health, safety, environmental and quality outcomes, embedding this commitment in everything you do


• motivation to achieve value-for-money results to program.

You may also have the following additional desirable skills:

• Certificate IV Civil Supervision
