Evolution Mining's Mungari Operations in Western Australia seeks an experienced Underground Manager to lead a critical underground team. You will drive safe, disciplined execution and deliver the Short Range Forecast, budget and standards.

You will develop frontline leaders and optimise development, production and services to meet targets. Roster options include 8:6, FIFO from Perth or living locally in the Goldfields with competitive incentives and relocation support.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ mining experience with 5+ years in a supervisory role.
• First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate required.
• Underground Supervisor’s Certificate required.
• Extensive underground mining experience with safety and regulatory discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead underground operations to safely meet SRF and budget.
• Deliver development, production and services on plan.
• Develop frontline leaders through coaching and accountability.
• Improve cycle times, equipment utilisation and workforce effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Technical Services, Geology and Geotechnical teams to optimise plans.

What’s the opportunity?

Lead one of Mungari’s most critical operational teams at a time of growth, investment and long-term opportunity. Reporting to the Underground Manager, this role is responsible for driving the safe, disciplined and efficient execution of underground operations while delivering on the Short Range Forecast (SRF), budget and Evolution’s operational standards. This is an opportunity to shape culture, develop frontline leaders and make a lasting impact on the performance and future of our underground operation.

Based at our Mungari Operations and reporting to the Underground Manager, you’ll:

• Lead from the front, creating a culture where safety is visible, understood and consistently lived every day.
• Deliver the Short Range Forecast safely and reliably, ensuring development, production and services remain aligned and on plan.
• Build leadership capability within your Supervisors through coaching, mentoring and clear accountability.
• Drive operational performance by improving cycle times, equipment utilisation and workforce effectiveness.
• Work closely with Technical Services, Geology and Geotechnical teams to remove barriers, optimise plans and achieve production targets.
