Peak Downs is an open-pit coal mine that produces high-quality hard coking coal and is one of Australia's biggest coal mines by recoverable coal reserves. It\'s located 31 kilometres south east of Moranbah in Queensland\'s Bowen Basin on the traditional lands of the Barada Barna people.
In this role you will be responsible for the safety, volume and costs of our Coal operations, whilst providing strong leadership to the teams on site. Reporting to the Manager Production Load and Haul, you will be a dynamic leader with a strong safety focus and the ability to influence and shape the organisational culture. Your passion for continuously seeking to improve will be key to your success in delivering the site’s KPI’s and mission.
Key responsibilities:
As the Superintendent Coal Mining, you will have demonstrated experience working in a large scale open cut mining operation specifically within Coal Mining.
