TAFE NSW seeks a Suburban Study Hub Manager for the Macquarie Fields Campus in Western Sydney. This temporary full-time role leads the Hub's delivery and continuous improvement, overseeing operations, budgets and community engagement to strengthen tertiary education pathways.

Based on-site five days a week, with a rotating roster between 7:00am and 7:00pm and local travel for stakeholder engagement. Salary package about $191,337 per year, including base salary and superannuation.

About the role

Located in the heart of Western Sydney, the Macquarie Fields Study Hub makes tertiary education more accessible for local students by providing purpose-built study spaces, academic support and student services. Open to learners enrolled in any Australian tertiary institution, the Hub helps reduce barriers to higher education and creates opportunities for local communities to thrive.

As the Suburban Study Hub Manager, you will lead the delivery and continuous improvement of the Hub, overseeing operations, budget management, governance reporting and community engagement activities. You will build and maintain strategic partnerships with universities, schools, community organisations, industry partners and government agencies to strengthen pathways to tertiary education and support positive outcomes for students and the community.

This is a temporary full-time opportunity until November 2027 and is a campus-based role requiring onsite attendance five days per week at the Macquarie Fields Study Hub. The role operates on a rotating roster between 7:00am and 7:00pm, with 7-hour morning and afternoon shifts. Travel within the local area will also be required to support stakeholder engagement and business needs.

This innovative project is supported by the Australian Government through the Suburban University Study Hubs Program.

You are a collaborative and community-focused leader with experience managing operations, building stakeholder relationships and delivering impactful services. You bring strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, engage diverse stakeholders and foster partnerships that create meaningful opportunities for students and local communities.
