Job summary

Amentum seeks a Subcontracts Administrator to support our program in Alice Springs, Australia. You will manage cradle-to-grave subcontract activities, ensuring compliance with government policies and company procedures while coordinating with stakeholders to meet project goals.

The role requires strong negotiation skills, knowledge of subcontract types, and the ability to work independently with some guidance. SCA levels I–IV considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field plus relevant experience or a Master’s with less experience.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; proficient with SharePoint, MS Office, and integrated software.
• Knowledge of subcontract types (Cost-Plus, Fixed Price, Time & Materials) and government procurement practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain subcontract documentation in compliance with CPSR and FAR/DFARS.
• Manage subcontract files, monitor deliverables, modifications, and closeout processes.
• Evaluate proposals, negotiate terms and pricing, and document decisions.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure workflow and issue resolution.
• Oversee lifecycle of agreements from drafting to execution and closeout.
