Job summary

Diamond Valley College is seeking a Leading Teacher to guide the Years 7–8 sub-school, with a strong focus on attendance, wellbeing and engagement. You will coordinate staff, lead strategic priorities, and support colleagues through modelling, coaching and collaboration to raise student outcomes.

The role requires overseeing transition, curriculum alignment with VTLM 2.0, and data analysis to inform timely interventions.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead and implement school priorities, including SWPBS and attendance.
• Ability to monitor attendance and wellbeing data to drive improvement.
• Experience leading data-informed teaching practices and supporting teachers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Years 7-8 cohort, focusing on attendance, behaviour, engagement and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with the Leadership Team to drive whole‑school improvement initiatives.
• Support VTLM 2.0 aligned teaching and learning across Years 7–8.
• Manage homegroup and PDL programs for the cohort.
