Job summary

The Body Shop in Melbourne Airport is seeking a motivated Beauty Advisor to deliver personalised, high‑touch service to international travellers, explaining products and fragrances with confidence.

You will work as part of a vibrant team, support in-store events, maintain visual standards, and use expert knowledge across cosmetics and skincare to drive sales.

RSA certification and a passion for beauty are valued; flexibility for weekends and events is required.

Job description

As one of our highly skilled Beauty Advisors you will combine your creative and technical expertise and passion for people to provide a welcoming, inspirational and personalised in‑store experience which educates and delights our customers.

You will also like working as part of a high performing team to create impact with in‑store events and to ensure that the store always achieves our high standards of visual merchandising to stand out against our competitors.

While certification in make‑up artistry and/or previous retail make‑up experience is desirable we also welcome applicants with amateur level experience. Qualifications

• While a qualification in make‑up artistry/previous retail make‑up experience is preferred, we welcome applicants with amateur level experience who are able to demonstrate a high level of creative and technical expertise
• All applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalised customer service
• Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and special events in a fast‑paced work environment
• Previous experience with retail point‑of‑sale software
• Applicants must be able to provide proof of right to live and work in the country if invited to attend for interview

About you

• Proven retail/sales experience in beauty, fragrance or cosmetics
• Excellent communication skills and vibrant personality
• Demonstrated passion for beauty, fragrance and skincare products
• RSA certification and ability to speak a second language (desirable but not essential)

Details of the Role

• Location: Melbourne Airport
• Full time positions: 76 hours’ fortnightly
• 2 week rotating roster
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and public holidays
