Job summary

Bed Bath N' Table in Melbourne is seeking a Studio Stylist to join our Creative team, delivering room sets, product photography and video content that showcases our collections at the highest standard. Reporting to the Head of Creative, you will style room sets, source props, manage shoots and coordinate with photographers and product teams, bringing seasonal trends to life in a fast-paced studio.

The role requires at least two years’ styling experience, a strong portfolio, and a valid driving

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Stylist or Stylist in a commercial photography environment.
• Strong portfolio showing homewares product and room-set styling.
• Experience interpreting briefs, following brand style guides, prop sourcing and room-set building.
• Excellent organisation, communication and ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced studio.

Responsibilities

• Style room sets, product photography and video content per briefs and brand standards.
• Interpret briefs, develop concepts and source, prepare and manage products and props for shoots.
• Coordinate shoot priorities, product availability and deadlines with photographers, Studio Coordinator and Product teams.
• Build and prepare sets, including decoration, steaming, and minor set construction.
• Manage product samples and studio organisation, ensuring timely return of items.
• Stay aware of seasonal trends and bring fresh styling ideas across each season.

We’re seeking a Stylist to join our Creative team, creating inspiring room sets, product photography and video content that showcases our collections at the highest standard.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Head of Creative, you’ll work closely with the Creative, Product, Marketing and Planning teams to deliver commercial photography in line with creative briefs, brand style guides and seasonal direction. This is a hands‑on studio role requiring creativity, organisation, attention to detail and the ability to work to daily photography schedules.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Style room sets, product photography and video content in line with creative briefs and brand standards.
• Interpret creative briefs, develop concepts and source, prepare and manage products and props for shoots.
• Partner closely with photographers, the Studio Coordinator and Product teams to coordinate shoot priorities, product availability and deadlines.
• Build and prepare sets, including room set decoration, steaming products and basic sanding, painting, wallpapering and small set construction.
• Manage product samples, props and studio organisation, ensuring products are captured accurately and returned on time.
• Maintain awareness of seasonal trends and bring fresh styling inspiration to content across each season.

ABOUT YOU

You will bring:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Stylist or Stylist within a commercial photography environment.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating homewares product and room-set styling. Experience interpreting creative briefs, working with brand style guides, prop sourcing and room-set building.
• Strong organisation, communication and attention to detail, with the ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast‑paced studio.
• Intermediate Excel skills and confidence managing product/sample tracking.
• A degree in Styling or Visual Merchandising is preferred.
• A current valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including bending, kneeling, standing for extended periods and climbing ladders.
