Job summary

Beca is seeking a Study Lead – Mineral Processing to join our Brisbane team. You will drive metallurgical studies, engage with clients, and lead pursuit activity in the minerals sector, delivering high-impact outcomes.

You'll partner with technical experts, manage bids, and mentor colleagues to grow our service offerings across gold, copper, lead, zinc and nickel projects. Our culture supports flexible arrangements and professional accreditation pathways.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified with experience within the minerals processing industry.
• Strong track record delivering technical studies and building trusted client relationships.
• Experience in consulting and familiarity with Gold, Copper, Lead, Zinc and/or Nickel is valued.

The Opportunity

Due to continued growth, a strong project pipeline and increasing demand within the heavy industrial sector, we are seeking a Study Lead - Mineral Processing to join our Brisbane team.

This is a key role to grow our metallurgy service offering and develop our service offering to the minerals processing sector, from market engagement & leading pursuits and bids, through to delivering studies & projects. You'll partner closely with clients and work with Beca's technical team to deliver outstanding project outcomes.

• Leading bids, including developing study methodologies aligned to client and market needs
• Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships, with a deep understanding of their business and strategic drivers
• Collaborating effectively across multidisciplinary and geographically dispersed teams
• Mentoring and developing team members, supporting capability growth and succession planning

About you

• Degree qualified with experience within the minerals processing industry.
• You bring a strong track record delivering technical studies and are known for building trusted client relationships, influencing outcomes, and leading teams to success.
• Experience within a consulting environment and prior experience working with Gold, Copper, Lead, Zinc and/or Nickel will be highly valued.
