Job summary

CY Partners, a bioanalytical specialist partnering with pharmaceutical and biotech clients, seeks a Study Director with immunoassay and LBA expertise in Adelaide, South Australia. You will own bioanalytical studies from initiation to reporting, provide scientific oversight of immunoassay and LBA studies, and support development, validation and data interpretation in a regulated CRO environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in immunoassays and/or ligand binding assays.
• Experience with ELISA, MSD/ECL, Gyrolab or similar LBA technologies.
• Previous experience within a CRO, pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment.
• Knowledge of GLP/GCP or other regulated bioanalytical environments.

Responsibilities

• Providing scientific oversight of immunoassay and ligand binding assay studies.
• Supporting assay development, validation, qualification and sample analysis.
• Reviewing and interpreting bioanalytical data.
• Preparing and reviewing study plans, protocols and reports.
• Working closely with laboratory and project management teams to deliver studies to timelines and quality standards.
• Acting as a key scientific contact for clients.
• Supporting investigations and continuous improvement of bioanalytical methodologies.

CY Partners are partnering with a leading bioanalytical specialist supporting pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients, who are seeking an experienced Study Director with expertise in immunoassays and ligand binding assays (LBAs).

The Role

As Study Director, you will take scientific ownership of bioanalytical studies, overseeing delivery from initiation through to reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing scientific oversight of immunoassay and ligand binding assay studies.


• Supporting assay development, validation, qualification and sample analysis.


• Reviewing and interpreting bioanalytical data.


• Preparing and reviewing study plans, protocols and reports.


• Working closely with laboratory and project management teams to deliver studies to timelines and quality standards.


• Acting as a key scientific contact for clients.


• Supporting investigations and continuous improvement of bioanalytical methodologies.

About You

We're looking for an experienced Study Director, Senior Scientist or Bioanalytical Scientist with:

• Strong experience in immunoassays and/or ligand binding assays.


• Experience with platforms such as ELISA, MSD/ECL, Gyrolab or similar LBA technologies.


• Previous experience within a CRO, pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment.


• Knowledge of GLP/GCP or other regulated bioanalytical environments.


• Strong scientific, analytical and communication skills.
