Department of Education Victoria – Melbourne VIC is seeking an experienced Student Support Services Team Leader to manage a multidisciplinary allied health team including psychologists, speech pathologists and social workers. The 0.4 FTE, fixed-term role is based at the Greensborough Regional Office and focuses on school-based student support and wellbeing outcomes.

You will lead, supervise and develop a small team, partner with schools to implement universal services, and coordinate responses

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant health/education field.
• Experience leading allied health professionals and teams.
• Strong communication and collaboration with schools and community services.
• Ability to manage complex cases and support student wellbeing outcomes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a local team of SSS employees to support schools in delivering student support services.
• Develop strategies with schools to ensure universal services for all students.
• Collaborate with the Area team on evidence-based, multidisciplinary approaches.
• Coordinate responses to emergencies and critical incidents with the SSS Branch Manager.
• Provide professional leadership and supervision to staff and contribute to professional development.
