Job summary

Yalari Limited on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Student Support Manager to lead a geographically dispersed team of Student Support Officers across 12 partner schools, guiding care for Scholars and strengthening family and community relationships with culture at the heart of the program.

You will champion a values-driven, collaborative culture, oversee performance, wellbeing and professional development, and ensure data-informed decisions through effective use of our CRM.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in social work, education, community development or youth services (desirable).
• Proven experience managing a remote high performing team.
• Strength in building trusting relationships with students, families and school partners.
• Experience working as part of an integrated support or case management team.
• Excellent communication, organisation and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example in shaping and sustaining Yalari’s values-driven culture.
• Manage and support Student Support Officers across 12 partner schools, ensuring consistently high levels of care for students.
• Partner with the existing Student Support Manager and the Managing Director to manage performance, wellbeing and professional development of your team.
• Ensure accurate and timely case notes are recorded for all student interactions.
• Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with partner schools and staff.
• Collaborate with families, carers and communities, including attending school meetings and community gatherings.
• Support the Philanthropy team by coordinating high-quality student updates for sponsors.
• Represent Yalari at key events, supporting students as ambassadors of the program.
• Use Yalari’s CRM system to maintain high-quality data and inform evidence-led decision-making.
• Contribute actively to a collaborative, transparent and supportive team environment.
