Job summary

Marymount College in Burleigh Waters, part of Brisbane Catholic Education, seeks a dedicated School Officer (Learning Support & Inclusive Education) to provide one-on-one student support and supervision for a student during Term 4 2026. The role emphasises inclusive teaching, collaboration with specialists, and a safe, supportive environment.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering teaching activities, monitoring progress, and contributing to intervention groups.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in Australia for duration of appointment.
• Blue Card/P.O.S. check (Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card) prior to commencement.
• Certificate III in Education Support is required or essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to a student with diverse learning and wellbeing needs.
• Assist planning, preparation and delivery of effective learning and teaching programs; use learning support activities.
• Monitor progress and apply evidence-based interventions; identify learning areas for targeted support.
• Collaborate with school specialists to coordinate intervention groups and services.
• Document observation notes, intervention plans and prepare classroom materials.
