Job summary

Iglu is seeking a Property/Community Leader for its Sydney Redfern campus, overseeing daily operations, budget management, and community events. You will drive exceptional resident experiences and lead a dedicated team in a vibrant student-focused environment.

Located in central Sydney, this role focuses on safe living, occupancy, partner relationships, and responsive resident support. Strong leadership, financial insight and flexibility to work non-standard hours are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent with five years of relevant leadership experience.
• Strong customer service mindset with a track record of delivering exceptional resident experiences.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team and manage challenging situations.
• Demonstrated financial acumen, budgeting, and business planning skills.
• Experience with StarRez or similar occupancy management system is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Foster a safe, inclusive living environment and innovate community programs.
• Lead, support and inspire a team to deliver personalised resident service.
• Oversee commercial performance including sales, budgets, and monthly reporting.
• Build and maintain relationships with university and accommodation partners to support demand.
• Manage resident matters, including under-18 considerations, with fairness and clarity.
