Queensland Pathways State College (QPSC) is seeking a Guidance Officer to provide expert guidance and support to students aged 15–18, aligning with campus teams and the broader school community. You will develop and implement plans to support educational, wellbeing and transition goals with a focus on prevention and proactive intervention.

• Experience working within education systems to support inclusion and wellbeing.
• Ability to provide advocacy, counselling and advice to students, parents and staff.
• Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and maintain professional records.

Responsabilidades

• Provide advocacy, counselling and individual support to students and families.
• Offer recommendations on educational pathways, mental health and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents and external support agencies for case management and referrals.
• Lead responses to student protection issues and emergencies, balancing privacy with information sharing as required.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to policy and legal requirements.
