The Hatch Vacation Student Program provides the opportunity to work on real projects and gain practical industry skills. We will help you through the transition, bridging the gap between your education and career.

Process Engineering - You will work alongside leading industry professionals in Hydrometallurgy and Pyrometallurgy to guide the development of process engineering deliverables and assist in developing solutions across various systems, unit operations and process equipment.

You bring to the role:

You will be working towards a bachelor’s/masters degree in Chemical Engineering, ideally in your third year (or later) of study, with a strong academic record. Candidates should have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and be able to think laterally and innovatively to solve problems. You should have an interest in exploring a future with a global consulting company and be committed to creating positive change.

The 12-week program commences on Monday, 17 Nov 2025. Please note that Hatch will have its annual office closure from COB Friday, 19 December 2025 and will reopen Monday, 5 January 2026. The Vacation Program will conclude from COB Friday, February 20th, 2026.
