The Control, Automation & Electrical Group is a Hatch global practice providing engineering design expertise to Hatch's metals and minerals, infrastructure, and energy business units. Our capability spans through the whole project lifecycle comprising scoping, conceptual design, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, basic and detailed engineering, construction, commissioning, sustaining capital works, and project management.

You bring to the role: You will be working towards a Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering with a strong academic record. Candidates will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and will be collaborators with the ability to think laterally and innovatively to solve problems.

The 12-week program commences on Monday, 17 Nov 2025. Please note, during this time Hatch will have its annual office closure from COB Friday, 19 December 2025, and will reopen Monday, 5 January 2026. The Vacation Program will conclude from COB Friday, February 20th, 2026.
