Job summary

D&S Steel, a family-owned structural steel company in Victoria, is seeking an experienced Boilermaker/Welder to join our Craigieburn crew. You will fabricate and install structural steel on a mix of workshop and site projects, with opportunities to grow your skills and advance.

Key tasks include MIG and ARC welding, reading shop drawings, and collaborating with crane and rigging teams to ensure safe, efficient operations. Applicants should be trade-qualified and safety-focused.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Boilermaker or Welder.
• Ability to read shop drawings.
• Valid driver’s licence and White Card.
• Safety-focused and team-oriented.
• Pride in doing the job properly.
• High Risk Work Licences (Dogman, Rigging, EWP, Forklift) are a bonus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• MIG & ARC welding of structural steel.
• Reading and interpreting shop drawings.
• Collaborating with crane & rigging operations on site and in workshop.
