VeiraMal Consulting is seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator to join Weld Up Contracting Pty Ltd in Craigieburn. You will fabricate, assemble, and repair structural steel and other metal components according to drawings and specifications.

You will ensure products meet quality, accuracy, and safety standards while maintaining workshop efficiency. The role requires reading drawings, working with welding and fabrication equipment, and collaborating with a team to meet project timelines.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in metal fabrication and structural steel fabrication.
• Trade qualifications in Metal Fabrication or related discipline.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Knowledge of welding, cutting, shaping, and joining processes.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine fabrication requirements.
• Select, measure, mark, and prepare metal stock for fabrication.
• Cut metal sections using hand tools and flame-cutting torches.
• Shape, bend, and finish metal using appropriate tools and heating techniques.
• Align components for assembly and join using welding, bolts, or rivets.
• Inspect welds and finished components for quality and conformance.
