Job summary

City To Sea Landscapes is seeking experienced landscape construction professionals based in Brisbane or the Gold Coast. The role involves reading plans, operating a mini loader/digger, and constructing hardscapes such as decks and shade structures.

Travel along the East Coast is required, with a 3 weeks on/1 week off roster. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in landscape construction, relevant QBCC qualifications are highly regarded, and a blue card or ability to obtain one is needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years landscape construction experience.
• Based in Brisbane or the Gold Coast area.
• Current blue card or ability to obtain.
• Willingness to travel along the East Coast (paid).
• physically fit and ready to work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Operate mini loader/digger and other machinery as required.
• Read and interpret plans and drainage requirements.
• Erect shade structures, build decks and pergolas, install features.
• Travel across the East Coast of Australia to projects.

At Imagine Education Group, we believe that beautiful outdoor spaces are essential for children’s growth, play, and creativity. We are a warm and welcoming team dedicated to creating environments where children can explore, learn, and have fun.

Due to current and projected growth, our landscape contruction and maintenance partner City to Sea Landscapes is looking to expand their Contruction Team! We are interested in speaking with experienced structural landscapers based in Brisbane, Gold Coast or Northern NSW!

A little about the role:

Scope of work includes but is not limited to: operating mini loader/ digger, reading plans, laser level for drainage, erecting shade structures, building decks, pergolas, bespoke play equipment, form work, concrete work, installing wet poor rubber, irrigation systems and synthetic turf.

Construction role will require travel across the Eastern Coast of Australia, ranging from Townsville to Tasmania

Working to a 3 week on to 1 week off roster.

Construction/landscaping role - 80% hardscapes and 20% softscapes

You’re on the tools! This position requires a certain level of physical fitness.

A little about you:

Based in Brisbane or on the Gold Coast.

Current blue card or ability to obtain

At least 3+ years of landscape construction experience.

Available to travel the East Coast of Australia (paid travel).

Wanting a varied role, where no two days are the same!

Reliable, punctual with a “get in and get it done” attitude!

Excellent critical thinking, common sense and problem solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Attention to detail and a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces.

QBCC or formal qualifications highly regarded

Horticultural experience desirable but not necessary
