Qualifications

• Degree in Structural Engineering is required.
• 5+ years in consulting.
• Leadership experience as Structural Manager or senior engineer.
• Experience managing structural engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of Australian building structures.
• Commercial awareness and financial acumen.
• Confident client-facing capability.
• Chartered (or near Chartered) status with Engineers Australia.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Engineers, Senior Engineers, and Graduates within the Sunshine Coast structural team.
• Drive accountability, engagement, and high performance; lead performance and remuneration reviews.
• Provide senior review and guidance on high-risk or high-value work; ensure QA and technical excellence.
• Forecast workload, resourcing, and staffing requirements; contribute to fee proposals and commercial strategy.
• Maintain and strengthen key client relationships; represent EDGE in industry forums and stakeholder meetings.
