Job summary

Bligh Tanner in Brisbane is seeking a Structural Engineer with 1-7 years’ experience to design and deliver a varied portfolio of projects using steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber. You will join a group of professionals delivering high-quality structural solutions across commercial, health, education and civic sectors.

You will work with a team of specialists, run projects, liaise with clients, and receive hands-on support from directors as the practice grows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in structural engineering design across a broad range of structures.
• Experience in design using steel, reinforced concrete, post‑tensioned concrete, masonry and timber.
• Demonstrated expertise with software such as Spacegass, RAM Concept, Strand 7, RAPT, ETABS and Inducta would be viewed favourably.
• RPEQ and CPEng qualifications would also be viewed positively.

Bligh Tanner has an opportunity for a Structural Engineer with 1-7 years’ experience in the industry. You will need the appropriate qualifications with evidence of your experience in the design of a variety of projects using different materials. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Relevant Tertiary Qualifications

Minimum 1 years’ experience in the structural engineering design of a broad range of structures including Commercial, Health, Education, Institutional, Community and Sporting Facilities.

Experience in design using materials such as steel, reinforced concrete, post-tensioned concrete, masonry and timber

Demonstrated expertise in relevant analysis software programs such as Spacegass, RAM Concept, Strand 7, RAPT, ETABS and Inducta software would be considered favourably

RPEQ and CPEng qualifications would also be viewed positively
