Job summary

Bligh Tanner in Brisbane is seeking a Structural Engineer with 1-7 years’ experience to design and deliver a varied portfolio of projects using steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber. You will join a group of professionals delivering high-quality structural solutions across commercial, health, education and civic sectors.

You will work with a team of specialists, run projects, liaise with clients, and receive hands-on support from directors as the practice grows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in structural engineering design across a broad range of structures.
• Experience in design using steel, reinforced concrete, post‑tensioned concrete, masonry and timber.
• Demonstrated expertise with software such as Spacegass, RAM Concept, Strand 7, RAPT, ETABS and Inducta would be viewed favourably.
• RPEQ and CPEng qualifications would also be viewed positively.

Responsibilities

• Design and delivery of structural projects across a diverse portfolio.
• Lead and run projects while liaising directly with clients.
• Receive hands-on support from directors and peers as the practice grows.
• Demonstrate a passion for structural engineering and design.
