pitt&sherry in Melbourne is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team, delivering designs for major infrastructure, industrial and local government projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. You will prepare calculations, drawings and documentation, apply engineering fundamentals, and grow under senior engineers in a flexible, supportive environment that values learning and work-life balance.

If you have at least 3 years in structural design and a B.E./B.Sc.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in structural engineering design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Exposure to structural analysis software such as SpaceGass.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and delivery of structural engineering solutions across infrastructure, industrial and government projects.
• Apply engineering fundamentals under the guidance of experienced senior engineers.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians across our national structural team on diverse project types.
• Prepare calculations, models, drawings and technical documentation.
• Develop technical, communication and project delivery skills through mentoring and hands-on involvement.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Melbourne. This role offers the chance to work on major infrastructure projects, as well as industrial and local government developments, while gaining exposure to a wide range of structural materials and design approaches under the guidance of senior engineers. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to delivering practical, innovative solutions in a flexible work environment.

What you bring:
