Job summary

ADG, a leading engineering consultancy, seeks a Structural Engineer to join the Brisbane (Toowong) team. You will contribute to project management, mentor junior engineers, and liaise with key clients on projects across Australia.

This permanent role offers exposure to concrete frame and steel structures in industrial, commercial and retail sectors, with a collaborative culture and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in Structural/Civil Engineering.
• 3+ years' industry experience in structural design.
• Strong design experience in large buildings - concrete frame and steel structures across industrial, commercial, and retail sectors.
• Understanding of geotechnical and basement/retention walls, seismic and wind design loads.
• Solid knowledge of construction methods and temporary works.
• Ability to solve complex engineering problems with innovative, practical solutions.
• Strong communicator with mentoring and leadership capability.

Responsibilities

• Undertake complex engineering design tasks as part of a project team.
• Independently run projects and deliver on client requirements.
• Collaborate nationally with other technical specialists.
• Play a leadership role in supporting and developing engineers in your team.

About the Role
