Job summary

Van der Meer Consulting Group Pty Limited in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Structural Draftsperson to join our engineering team on a full-time basis. You will prepare and revise detailed structural and civil drawings, develop Revit models and BIM documentation under the direction of Engineers and Senior Draftspersons.

Qualifications

Diploma or Advanced Diploma in civil/structural drafting or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year experience as Structural Draftsperson in civil/structural drafting.
Strong proficiency in Revit and BIM-based drafting workflows; working knowledge of CAD software.
Experience interpreting sketches, surveys, specifications and project data for drawings.
Sound knowledge of Australian Standards and drafting procedures.

Responsibilities

Prepare and revise detailed drawings and Revit models for structural and civil works.
Coordinate across disciplines to identify clashes and ensure consistency.
Maintain drawing registers, revision histories and document control.
Communicate progress with Engineers and Senior Draftspersons to support project delivery.
