Westera Partners Pty Ltd is seeking highly motivated Structural Drafters to join our Brisbane team. You will produce drawings and documentation across residential, commercial, and educational facilities, collaborating with delivery managers and engineers.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, Cert IV in Drafting or Associate Diploma in Engineering, and advanced Revit skills with some exposure to AutoCAD. Brisbane-based, full-time, start date available now.

The Opportunity

Due to increasing demand for our services, we are looking for highly motivated Structural Drafters with 3-5 years of experience to join our Brisbane structural engineering team. Our team consists of talented and capable professionals who love what they do, along with supportive leaders in a people-focussed workplace.

You’ll enjoy working with respected industry professionals and possess the agility required to consistently deliver high-quality work across a diverse range of projects, including:

• Luxury and Prestige Residential
• Townhouses and Multi-residential (3-9 storeys)

Requirements for Success

• Cert IV in Drafting and/or Associate Diploma in Engineering
• 3-5 years relevant experience, ideally gained within a QLD workplace.
• Advanced skills in Revit with some exposure to AutoCAD.

Key to your success is your ability to problem-solve technical issues and communicate proactively with delivery managers and engineers. You will have exceptional attention to detail and take pride in producing drawings and documentation of a standard that is second to none. You understand the challenges that can arise on structural design projects and are able to comfortably demonstrate an ability to keep cool while maintaining pace and the quality of your work. Our Brisbane team values effective communication and collaboration, so we are looking for drafters who can demonstrate success working as an integral part of a close-knit team.

• Recent experience applying Australian design standards on projects delivered in SEQ (detail which local authorities and asset owners you have been exposed to)
