The Opportunity

Due to increasing demand for our services, we are looking for a highly motivated Civil Design Engineer with at least 7 years of experience to join our Newstead civil team. The role offers the opportunity to lead technical design, manage small-scale projects, and work on projects across our national portfolio.

You’ll enjoy working alongside respected industry professionals and possess the agility required to consistently deliver high-quality work across a diverse range of projects, including:

• Land Subdivisions

• Local Government Infrastructure & Urban Master Planning

• Stormwater, Flood Modelling & WSUD

• Aged Care, Childcare, Education and Retirement Living.

• Multi-Residential, Commercial & Industrial Developments

Requirements for Success

• 4 year Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (Engineers Australia-recognised)

• At least 7 years of post-grad experience, ideally with some experience working on projects in SEQ, and requiring interactions with local government authorities and asset managers

• Strong technical design skills and proficiency with relevant software

• RPEQ, NER, or CPEng accreditation (or working towards it)

• Recent experience applying Australian design standards on projects delivered in SEQ

• 4-year degree qualification recognised by Engineers Australia (and RPEQ/NER/CPEng registration if applicable)
