Job summary

Keane Engineering in Geelong seeks a Structural Design Engineer to complete detailed design across residential and commercial projects, with room for growth and development. You will contribute to projects within a small team at a newly established company, offering a pipeline of interesting work.

The role includes hybrid working, a brand new office in North Geelong, free car park, and an excellent salary package with superannuation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering (Structural preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an engineering consultancy.
• Proficiency in structural design software (Structural Toolkit, Bluebeam, SpaceGass, AutoCAD/Revit).

Responsibilities

• Structural Engineering / Design of Residential homes, commercial buildings
• Temporary works design for projects in construction
• Preparation of calculation packages
• Preparation of drawings - Bluebeam, AutoCAD and Revit
• Daily communication with clients

About The Role

Your primary role will be to complete detailed engineering design across a diverse range of projects. This role is ideal for someone wanting to develop their skills in the residential and commercial space with plenty of room for growth and development.

Salary - $80,000-$90,000 + SUPER

Qualifications

We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable person with the following qualities:

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering preferred but not essential)
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in an engineering consultancy environment
• Proficiency in structural design software (Structural Toolkit, Bluebeam, SpaceGass, AutoCAD/Revit)
• Understanding of Australian Standards & design principles
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent English communication skills – able to speak and write clearly and concisely
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Australian Drivers License (You may be required to attend site visits)
