Job summary

Xeros Piccolo Consulting Engineers in Wagga Wagga, NSW, is seeking an experienced Structural/Civil Engineer to join our office. You will lead projects from concept through construction and coordinate with clients, architects and contractors.

The role targets engineers with 5+ years of industry experience, a civil/structural degree, and proficiency in Revit. We offer flexible work options, mentoring, and pathways to leadership within a respected regional practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or nearing completion.
• Five years’ experience designing timber, steel and concrete structures.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience in medium-size concrete frame structures.
• Experience in Revit drafting.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structural engineering projects from concept design through to construction.
• Prepare engineering designs, calculations and technical documentation.
• Conduct site inspections and structural assessments.
• Liaise with clients, architects, builders and other stakeholders.
• Maintain and develop strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver structural engineering projects from concept design through to construction.
• Prepare engineering designs, calculations, and technical documentation.
• Undertake site inspections and structural assessments.
• Liaise with clients, architects, builders, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain and develop strong client relationships.
• Provide practical engineering solutions and technical advice.
• Design structures to ensure they meet client specifications and relevant international and Australian standards and codes.

Requirements

You will possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or be nearing completion).
• Five years' experience in designing timber, steel and concrete structures.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience in medium-size concrete frame structures.
• Experience in Revit drafting.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
