Job summary

Bendigo Bank is seeking a Performance Analyst to shape our strategic direction by providing reporting, analysis and data-driven insights. You will work closely with senior leaders to assess performance against strategy and support the formulation of business cases for key initiatives.

This role is based in Adelaide with hybrid work options, enabling collaboration across the Group while offering flexibility to balance work and life.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Mathematics, Commerce, Economics, IT or related discipline.
• Analytical mindset with ability to turn complex data into a compelling strategic narrative.
• Experience building sophisticated, dynamic financial models (scenario analysis, forecasting).
• Collaborative, cross-functional team player with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Extract, analyse and draw insights from diverse qualitative and quantitative data sources for strategic deep dives.
• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models, including scenario analysis and business-case forecasting.
• Translate complex analysis into contextualised insights, compelling business cases, and clear visualisations for Board and Executive-level decisions.
• Assist in the annual strategic planning process as required.

About the Role

As our Performance Analyst, you will be instrumental in shaping our strategic direction by providing critical reporting, analysis, and data-driven insights. You will work closely with senior leaders to assess performance against our strategy, understand the underlying drivers of activity, and support the formulation of business cases for key initiatives.

You’ll get to:

About You

We are looking for an experienced and curious analyst with relevant tertiary qualifications (Business, Mathematics, Commerce, Economics, IT or related discipline). While an understanding of banking and financial services is helpful, we strongly encourage applications from candidates with diverse industry backgrounds. What's most important is your analytical mindset and your ability to turn complex data into a compelling strategic narrative.
