Job summary

Dentsu Australia is seeking a Strategy Director to own the strategic direction for Endeavour Group, Australia's largest Drinks Retailer. You will elevate leadership capabilities, shape brief diagnoses, audience strategy, insights and communications frameworks, and ensure the strategy informs the media plan.

Leading with collaboration across client, media, creative, and data teams, you will mentor managers and contribute to new business pitches, driving meaningful impact and growth.

Qualifications

• An experienced strategist with leadership capability
• Experience with large scale categories and regulated categories preferred
• High competency in media tools and consumer insights
• Collaborative, able to coordinate across client, media, creative, digital and data teams
• Ability to work with Strategy Leads on key projects

Responsibilities

As the Strategy Director, get ready to own top tier responses to brief and become a trusted advisor to Australia's largest Drinks Retailer - Endeavour Group.

This is the perfect role to level up your leadership skills - go beyond the creation of strategic product, and learn to shape strategic direction, layering it into media planning and ultimately, the media plan design.

Core Responsibilities:

• Act as a trusted strategic partner to senior clients, championing their customers and identifying opportunities for business growth
• Lead the development of strategic outputs including brief diagnosis, audience strategy, insights and communications frameworks
• Work closely with Client and Investment teams to ensure that the strategic platform developed is carried through to the media plan.
• Lead, mentor and develop Manager-level talent, including performance, development, resourcing and utilisation

About You:

• An experienced strategist with a keen interest in stepping up and building more leadership capability
• Familiarity working with diverse, large scale categories and verticals - experience working with regulated categories will be highly regarded.
• High level of competency in Media tools and systems, leveraging them to understand consumer insights and trends
• Naturally collaborative, bringing together client, media, creative, digital, data and broader dentsu capabilities without losing sight of the strategic direction.
• Ability to work closely with the Strategy Leads to identify and deliver key projects.
